1. Use of Our Website

This website is provided for general information, product browsing, and ordering purposes. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and not for any activity that may damage, disrupt, or misuse the website or its content.

We reserve the right to update or modify the website, its content, and these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Product Information & Availability

We make every effort to present our products accurately. However:

  • Wood is a natural material, and variations in color, grain, texture, and character should be expected.

  • Product photos are representative only and may not match your exact piece.

  • Sizes, finishes, and details may vary slightly due to the custom, handmade nature of our work.

Availability of materials may change, and we reserve the right to substitute comparable materials if necessary. We will notify you if a significant change is required.

3. Orders & Payments

All orders are subject to acceptance by Workers Wood. We may decline or cancel orders at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or material unavailability.

For custom products, a deposit is typically required before production begins, with the remaining balance due prior to delivery or pickup. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of order.

4. Custom Work

Most of our products are made to order. Once design details are approved and production has begun, orders generally cannot be cancelled or changed.

Customers are responsible for confirming measurements, specifications, and installation conditions before approving production. Workers Wood is not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect measurements or site conditions provided by the customer.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Pickup

Shipping and delivery options are outlined on our Shipping Policy page.
Risk transfers to the customer once the product is picked up or delivered to the carrier, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe access for delivery and proper handling once the item is received.

6. Returns, Repairs & Warranty

Our Returns and Warranty policies explain how we handle defects, damage, and craftsmanship issues. These policies form part of these Terms of Service.

Because our products are custom-made, we do not accept returns for change of mind once production begins.

7. Natural Wood Disclaimer

Our products are made from real wood, which naturally responds to its environment. Changes in humidity, temperature, and light exposure may cause movement, slight warping, color shifts, or surface changes over time. These characteristics are normal and not considered defects.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, text, logos, designs, and graphics — belongs to Workers Wood and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workers Wood is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of use or business interruption

  • Installation costs or third-party work

  • Environmental damage after delivery

Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
